Porter is 6 year old Chihuahua mix weighing in at 11 lbs.

This little cutie is so sweet and does not have a mean bone in his body. Porter is learning all the things, he is timid and shy. Fast movement and big loud people are so scary but calm and patient people aren’t to bad. With a little love Porter will begin to open up, trust and build the confidence he needs to be the perfect little companion.

Porter is currently working on mastering his doggie manners. He is crate and potty trained. This boy loves his crate as it is his safe space when he is feeling unsure or scared. Porter is working hard to perfect his leash manners. Great with other dogs, respectful older kids and cats. This little guy is very food driven so treats will go a long way. A securely fenced in yard is required in Porter’s new home because he will run when/if scared. Make sure to watch the door!

Being a little shy doesn’t deter Porter from following his peeps like a shadow, he even comes up for sniffs and wags his little tail. Porter wants to be loved and wants all the good pets, cuddles and kisses. With the right person Porter will open up and be his best self. Will you be the one Porter needs?

All of our animals are fully vetted which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and microchipped) prior to adoption.
